Fine Features = Fun and

Intersphere system components
are designed by laser tag players for laser tag players.
We have found that the more
fun players have, the more often they visit the laser tag centers
operated by Intersphere’s partners around the world. By delivering
great customer satisfaction in the arena, Intersphere optimizes the
return on the center operator’s investment.
LaZerware™ is Intersphere’s
complete system of game playing hardware and game operating software.
The components work together to deliver an efficient real-time scoring
experience for players and an easily monitored and controlled system
for operators.
Loading the system with state-of-the-art
electronic and radio components pleases players and operators alike
– which helps explain Intersphere’s leading position in
the industry.

• LaZerware™ software
ties together all aspects of managing laser tag games.
• Packs, phasers, and LaZerdrones™ (mines) are all radio
linked to the software.
• LaZerware™ software calculates in real time the game
status of each player, and continuously communicates that data throughout
the system.
• Operators can monitor all factors that contribute to game
and business success including numbers of players, length of games,
and condition of equipment,
• The software permits operators to vary the parameters of games,
making them more challenging and interesting for players.
• Even while games are in progress, changes can be made. For
example, new players can be given an edge, which enhances their enjoyment.
• LaZerware™ software is compatible with all versions
of the industry standard, Microsoft Windows.
LaZerware™ Equipment
• The turnkey system
includes everything needed: packs (vests), phasers, computer, radio
system, battery chargers, and LaZerdrones.™
• We focused on designing the best in packs and phasers, because
these are most important to players and their satisfaction.
• Our high-tech, futuristic gear enhances the players’
enjoyment of the game. The vests feature visible electronic boards,
data communications cables, and tri-colored light emitting diodes
(LEDs). A dozen LEDs augment the look of serious instrument-laden
communication and battle technology.
• Nearly indestructible, the lightweight, high-impact plastics
in the gear helps protect player satisfaction by avoiding breakage
and malfunctions. The only moving part, the trigger, is easily replaceable.
• Our new soft canvas vest is easy to put on and take off, which
takes less time, and is comfortable for young and old alike. Click
for close up.
• Vest and phasers have a dozen sensors that can instantly detect
another phaser’s infrared beam.
• Invisible infrared beams are used because they are easier
for the sensors to detect than the piercing laser beam.
• Colored lights on the packs can be used to separate and identify
team members. The colors can be changed by the software, which means
packs can be easily swapped.
• Surround sound speakers on the shoulders immerse players in
the sonic excitement of the game, while allowing operator’s
messages to be heard loud and clear.
• Standard Windows sound files are used to play interactive
digital sound effects. The player’s every action in the game
is punctuated with stimulating sounds.
• All of our electronics are tightly integrated for real-time
realism. The instant a player pulls a trigger, electronic information
is propagated throughout the system: The laser flashes, a sensor detects
the infrared light, sounds are emitted, and the computer is notified
via radio. Even before the finger is released, the system has updated
the scores for both players.
• The player who gets tagged knows immediately. After the lights
flash and a high-pitched ping announces the tag, all goes dark. The
player’s pack lights go out for a time period set by the operator.
• Both players can look at their phaser displays and see identifying
information about the other. Even spectators can immediately see the
result, if they are following the game on a monitor.
• Instantaneous radio communications, software-controlled packs,
and an effective messaging system means that games can end exactly
when programmed. The computer turns off the music, turns up the arena
lights, turns off the packs, and announces the game’s over.
Players stop playing, which means the arena is cleared quickly for
another game to begin.
• Real-time scoring means players do not wait for their scores
to be tallied. When the game is ended, the computer is already beginning
to print their detailed score sheets.
• Our new power cells and smart chargers assure players and
operators that the packs will not run down. Packs can be automatically
charged without removing the power cells, saving staff time.
• LaZerware™ equipment is designed and built for maximum
durability. Should a component fail, the modular design makes swapping
a snap. And our detailed users guide shows how easy it is to find
and fix the gear.
