News Release
Amsterdam, Holland. The Intersphere Company today announced that they
are releasing a new game operating system for the laser tag industry. The new
system uses radio to communicate information between the players and the systems
central computer. The central computer is a PC that is IBM compatible.
"The use of radio is a first for the laser tag industry," says Pete
Marshall, president of Intersphere, "this means that players are now free
from downloading."
Other systems available today require players to stop at the end of their game.
Then they have to wait in line to download the information from their game packs
into the computer system. The radio system creates a real-time environment for
players. Radio communications allows all tags to be immediately communicated
to the players and to the central computer for scoring. This means that players
will no longer have download scoring information from their game packs
it is done for them. Players can also be given special powers and abilities
even during game play!
LaZerware the new laser tag game system from Intersphere will also include the
latest in laser technology. The laser lights emitted from the players
phasers will be bright red for all to see, yet harmless to the players.
Intersphere plans to build centers across Europe that incorporate their new
technology, along with an exciting theme. The Intersphere centers will be filled
with flashing colored lights and music, to enhance the excitement of the games.
