Amsterdam, Holland - - - A new version of the laser tag game operating
system is now available from the Intersphere company. The Intersphere system was
the first in the laser tag industry to introduce the radio system for real-time
score keeping. Now Intersphere is the first to bring to market a laser tag system
based on this new operating system from Microsoft, Windows 3.1.
Microsoft announced today that it is shipping Windows 3.1. The new version created
unprecedented user demand with over one million advance orders placed worldwide.
This new operating system from Microsoft offers dramatic performance increases,
advances in ease of use and aesthetic appeal, and straightforward integration
into existing computing environments.
The new system makes it much easier for center operators to manage the laser tag
games. "The graphic user interface is so much easier for our customers to
use," says Pete Marshall, president of Intersphere, "this means that
changing game information requires that operators only point and click."
Adding the new Windows software to the advanced system from Intersphere means
that a powerful new tool is available to the laser tag industry. The radio system
speeds up the operation of the games and the new Windows software speeds up the
operation of the game system. Both laser tag center owners and players will benefit
from these new developments.
Interspheres radio communications allows all players tags to be immediately
communicated to the players and to the central computer for scoring. This means
that players will no longer have download scoring information from their game
packs it is done for them. Players everywhere are praising the sophisticated
system from Intersphere. Now, the operators are going to start praising the ease
with which they can run the new system.
