Des Moines, Iowa, USA- Intersphere USA today announced the release of generation 7.0 of their internationally popular LaZerwareTM laser tag hardware and software package.  All new vests, power cells, software, and displays highlight the technology advances found in the latest evolution of Intersphere’s sophisticated product line.

Power Cells: Lighter and Longer.’  The power cell packs now available incorporate industrial grade technology custom-built especially for Intersphere.  “Players will appreciate this development,” stated Mr. Ferson. “Working with our supplier, we were able to achieve an 80% reduction in weight.  Laser tag center operators will also like the fact that these new power cells hold their charge for up to 20 hours!”

The new power cell technology eliminates concerns about the use of toxic heavy metals while optimizing results with the company’s battery-powered packs.  The improved energy density (up to 85 percent greater) accounts for the significantly longer run times.  Another gain is the reduction in space required for storing the power cells in the packs.

Charging Ahead.  Intersphere also announced the availability of Intersphere’s advanced charging system.  Implementing a new ‘smart product’ design, the charger takes advantage of the new power technology break through.  The charger continuously monitors the condition of the power cells, insuring that they always receive an optimal charge.  The LaZerwareTM packs contain charging circuits so that power cells don’t have to be removed for recharging, which saves staff time.  The company’s modular design makes it easy for non-technical workers to operate the charger.

Superior Software.  Intersphere is now taking advantage of the benefits offered by the new Windows XP operating system from Microsoft.  Mr. Ferson reported, “Our software engineers meticulously upgraded all necessary code to insure compatibility with XP.  This permits center operators across the globe to use Microsoft’s powerful new system software.”  Remaining the industry’s most advanced and capable laser tag control system, LaZerwareTM 7.0 used 32-bit Microsoft compilers to ensure maximum future compatibly and upgradability.  The software remains compatible with earlier versions of Windows.

Velvety Vests.  It's not velvet, but the new canvas vest from Intersphere gives players a soft cloth-like feeling.  Ergonomically designed to deliver maximum comfort to fit young and old alike, the modern high-tech packs sport new front and back plastics, along with easy adjustments to accommodate small children and large adults.

The new addition to the lineup of Intersphere’s winning LaZerwareTM game gear will enhance the players’ enjoyment of the game.  “Our high-tech, futuristic look appeals to laser tag enthusiasts,” reports Mr. Ferson. “And we want to give them a comfortable experience.”  The new soft canvas vest design makes the LaZerwareTM pack easy to put on and take off, which takes less time.  The vests feature visible electronic boards, data communications cables, and tri-colored light emitting diodes (LEDs).  A dozen LEDs augment the look of a serious instrument-laden communication and fighting implement.

Radiant Display.  “Transfluorescent” is the technology used in the LaZerwareTM phaser displays.  “Transflective” and “electro fluorescent” are also applied to the new brighter and easier to read display screen.  Players can easily check the status of their score, ranking, and other vital mission statistics with the glowing blue screen.  Instead of backlighting, the new blue screen uses a system that pumps lights through the characters and not the background.
